The Leadership and Management teams at Abir comprise of proven expertise in infrastructure development projects, and are drawn from reputed and large national / international companies and the public sector corporations in India.

The leaders and management personnel have to their credit, establishing and leading large companies and projects successfully both in India and abroad. They are passionate about innovation, quality, and completion of projects within time and budgets and bringing-in technological developments for sustainable business growth.  It is their experience in different areas such as business modelling, engineering (concept to commissioning), financial management, human resources development and other areas that has propelled the company to the present position in the industry. 

The decades of collective experience of leadership and management is enabling Abir to witness continual business growth on year-on-year basis in the 12 years of its existence.

Mr Ramesh Surapaneni

Managing Director

Mr Ramesh Surapaneni has over 30 years of rich and varied Experience in Engineering and Construction Industry, his previous employers were ASIC Research Inc., Cupertino, California, USA, Modular Semiconductor Inc., Santa Clara California, USA, Surapaneni Gandhi Engineering Enterprises, Hyderabad, India and Sugaenent Exim Private Limited.

He joins us from Surapaneni Gandhi Engineering Enterprises Pvt Ltd where he was associated as Managing Director.

He has done Bachelors of Engineering (Mechanical) from Osmania University in 1983 and Masters of Science (Computer Science) from Florida Institute of Technology, Florida, and USA in the year 1986.

Mr K Ratnagopal

Business Head - Oil & Gas

Mr Ratnagopal has over 40 years of experience in the field. His last assignment, before joining the Company, was with the US oil major, M/s Chevron Corporation as the Regional Manager, Asia Pacific region. He has strong project management background by virtue of having established many greenfield oil & gas projects both in India and abroad.

Mr Ashok Tatineni

Business Head - Thermal Division

Mr Ashok has more than 20 years’ experience in infrastructure and construction field. He has executed very large highway, irrigation and building projects, spread across the country prior to joining Abir.

Mr YV Rao

Head - Business Development

Mr Rao has over 25 years’ experience in business development in Infrastructure sector including power generation.

He was with M/s Engineers India Limited (one of the premier organizations in the country) and Planning Commission of India, before joining the Company. Mr Rao has MBA in Project Financing from UK and Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Madras.
